All cashiers have heard every joke in existence, and I appreciate them for politely smiling when I think I’m the funniest person on Earth.

Interesting dramatic take on a cashier who heard one too many. Animation quality and sound are both great, good work!

I like the style contrast beteen characters in focus versus background. There seemed to be a bit of influence from the SNL “When will the bass drop” sketch, with random characters meeting their demise. Great work!

Very cute animation! I couldn’t tell where the loop started/ended, so well done there. A little more variation in the background scenery would be nice, maybe changing scenes every 10-15 seconds. Good work!

thanks :)

I like the stle of your work, and how you were able to put a unique spin on Pico, Nene and Darnell. The angry face masks were a nice touch. It would be nice to see this completed at some point, but I definitely appreciate that the incomplete parts were sketch animated for flow.

Nice short! I didn’t think trees were capable of love or sadness, maybe they just hide it well. Good work at telling a full story in so short a timeframe.

The construction paper texture is a nice accent to the animation style. Part of me has wondered for a while what was under his hat, but I always thought it would just be a weird bald spot. Good work!

Pretty good for a first stop motion! One of the issues with stop motion is camera shake/shifting, which definitely gets harder when you are also trying to move the scene. For something this low, look at a discount store for a cheap phone tripod you could put little wheels on. This will allow you to both move the subject and the camera slightly for each frame without being jarring.

I liked the animation style, with the simple line art backgrounds, and coloured works being the focus. It was also nice to have static character's line art have slight movement to show that they were still active in the scene.

Audio was all clear, and the dialogue was great. Awesome work!

Ugh, how horrible. Cyberdevil what have you done?

Just Kidding, nice short. The up/down walking leg animation is a bit odd, but that's a four years ago you problem.

Happy Pico Day man!

Cyberdevil responds:

Man, for a moment there ... XD

Thanks, and yes, those wonky details were the result of a somewhat wonky work practice with the pixel art... though considering I've had little practice since it may be a this year me problem too! Will see when that games comes out if there's potential for changing.

Happy Pico Day to you too!

Incredible job! That was a great 10 minutes. The characters all had very unique and funny quirks which lent to immediately liking them. I think the part I enjoyed most was the post-explosion disintegration of everyone, with a close second being the post-credits.

I want buns of steel but also buns of cinnamon.
