Thank you so much!
Thank you!!! <3
Hot dang, good work everyone. I have to say I'm disappointed that this isn't 30 mins of PenPen though.
I was concerned this was going to be another terrible stick movie. You got me, I laughed.
Suggestion for improvement would be a means of changing the volume, which can't be muted in the tab.
Thanks for the vote/suggestion, I'll look into adding mute buttons on my animations
You have some pretty good detail in here for being stick figures fighting, it makes for a good demonstration of your animation ability. There was some good parts of perspective and 3D. Right around 0:16 (backflip) it seemed like there could have been a few extra keyframes, as it seemed to be a little jumpy for the characters positioning. Maybe that was intentional.
Thanks.. Yeah I got some mistakes with the position I'll Work hard on next projects and correct đâ¤ď¸
Fairly short, so there isn't much to talk about but I do understand the effort that goes in to it. The movement was smooth, and appropriately weird. There is a cast shadow right near the start and a few times throughout, so if I was to offer a suggestion it would be to work on avoiding those. The one towards the start was right over the hand and caused a small distraction of my attention.
Cheers!
Thank you so much! Yeah I already filtered out some frames that contained shadows and lighting change ,but I'm still learning and from this I learned to avoid any of that while shooting instead of editing â¤ď¸
This was really well done. I like the music selection, you incorporated it really well with the animation to build suspense. The backgrounds were really nicely don, as was the main animation. The ending ending was a little unfulfilling to me, but I know that type of ending cut is an intentional choice :) Good work!
Glad you liked it!
This felt a little like a segments for the Futurama episode about not dating robots. It was a fun segment, well animated. I liked the voice work as well.
I'm a little concerned about the backgrounds. More specifically, I'm concerned that DIGIMIN has been in the cage for too long. If you don't let your background artists out for fifteen minutes of yard time a day, they tend to complain more. :)
Oh please, what a silly gag. I exclusively use "cage-free" artists in my animations; it's more like a pen anyway, no roof.
Fun short. You did ask for constructive feedback, so I wanted to add my two cents. I think any of the issues I have with this could be attributed to the speed of creation. I understand the tight deadlines you're on for the summer Animation Jams, so I can't really fault you for much.
There's an interesting mix between the plain and detailed backgrounds. You have the grass as both plain night-green and detailed to show every blade of grass (when she looks in the hole). I might suggest that if you're going back and forth between "plain" and detailed, you add the extra details to other elements in the appropriate part. For example, a few extra details on her face or hair when she's looking into the hole. I think that would add a bit to the consistency.
Other than that, no real issues. I enjoyed the dialogue and voice acting.
Good work, I look forward to future submissions!
That's a great point. As I was going I decided to start making the more detailed backgrounds but ran out of time to upgrade the ones I had. Thank you very much for the review!
Nice take on the âAnimation vs. Xâ genre. Great job showing clean interaction between the Artist and Creation. I wouldnât mind seeing something outside the greyscale for the colour palette, but I think it worked out in this case. Good work!
Thanks . I did black an white cause i recorded it with my phone hence quality wasn't and other my skin colour is a bit dark . Well Thanks for the response , it really motivates me ;)
This is so strange yet I canât look away. Good voicework and animation. Congrats on sipping the Famous Juice!
